NetShelter SX: 24U to 48U server cabinets
NetShelter SX is Schneider Electric’s mainstream 19-inch server cabinet, available from 24U to 48U in widths of 600 to 750 mm and depths of 825, 1070 and 1200 mm. It is the cabinet most commonly specified where the equipment is standard rack-mount IT and the room is a conditioned white space. Model codes cover the combinations rather than a single size.

Which one should you choose?
Pick the depth before the height
Height is the easy decision: count your U and add growth. Depth is the one that goes wrong. A 1070 mm cabinet takes most 2U servers with their power and network tails; a 1200 mm cabinet is what you need once cable arms, deep storage controllers or in-rack PDUs with long cords enter the picture. Retrofitting depth is impossible, so buy it once.
600 mm or 750 mm wide
The 19-inch mounting width is fixed by the standard and does not change. The extra 150 mm on a 750 mm cabinet becomes vertical side channels, which is where 0U PDUs and bundled cabling live. If the rack will carry two vertical PDUs and more than a handful of patch runs, the wider frame stops the cable management from eating rear access.
Doors, roof and containment
Perforated front and rear doors are the default for front-to-back airflow, and the perforation ratio matters more as rack density rises. Roof options, brush strips and blanking panels are the difference between a rack that cools as designed and one that recirculates its own exhaust. These are line items, not accessories, on any rack above a few kilowatts.
What we need to quote it
The U height, the outside width and depth you can fit, the total equipment weight, and whether the rack sits in a row that will later be contained. Codes in this family such as AR3100, AR3150, AR3300 and AR3350 encode size and configuration, so the dimensions decide the code rather than the other way round.
