Easy UPS 3S, 3M and 3L: 10 to 600 kW, price-led three-phase
Easy UPS is Schneider Electric’s cost-focused three-phase line, split into 3S, 3M and 3L to cover 10 to 600 kW. It carries the same double-conversion topology as the Galaxy families but with a narrower option list, which is exactly why it prices differently. On export projects where the specification is standard and the budget is the binding constraint, this is usually the family that wins.

Which one should you choose?
3S, 3M or 3L
The three letters mark capacity bands within one design language, not three different products. 3S sits at the small end of the range, 3M in the middle and 3L at the top. Which one you need follows from the load alone, so give us the kilowatts and the letter follows.
What you give up, stated plainly
A price-led line has fewer configuration options, a shorter accessory list and less flexibility on unusual voltages or communication protocols. If your requirement is standard, none of that costs you anything. If it is not, you will spend the saving working around the gaps.
Where it competes hardest
On tenders scored primarily on price with a standard technical specification, this family is frequently the difference between a competitive bid and a lost one. We quote it alongside a Galaxy option so the trade-off is visible rather than assumed.
Lead time is part of the price
A price-led line is usually built to stock in the common ratings and to order in the rest. On a tender with a fixed delivery date, the stocked rating that meets the specification can be worth more than a slightly better price on a rating that ships in ten weeks. Ask for both figures together.
Where it fits, and where it does not
Fits a standard three-phase requirement between 10 and 600 kW where the budget is the deciding factor and the specification carries no unusual voltage, protocol or redundancy demand. Does not fit an installation that needs deep configuration flexibility or an uncommon electrical arrangement.
