Eaton Power Xpert 9395P: 275 to 1200 kVA
Power Xpert 9395P is Eaton’s large-capacity three-phase UPS, rated 275 to 1200 kVA. It occupies the band above the 93PM family and is specified where a data hall is being built or comprehensively refitted. At this rating the unit arrives as part of an electrical design rather than as a delivery.

Which one should you choose?
kVA ratings need a kW answer
This family is rated in kVA. Your servers consume kilowatts, and modern power supplies run close to unity power factor, so the two figures are near each other but not identical. Ask for the kW rating at your configuration and size against that; sizing on kVA alone is how installations end up short.
The band above 93PM
If your load has outgrown 400 kW, this is the family that continues the same manufacturer’s portfolio. Staying within one brand across a growing estate keeps spares, service contracts and monitoring common, and that is usually worth more than a small price difference on a single unit.
Parallel for capacity or for redundancy
Units of this class can be paralleled, and the two reasons produce different purchases. Paralleling for capacity carries a load no single unit could. Paralleling for redundancy means each unit could carry it alone. Decide which before the single-line diagram is drawn.
Harmonics and the generator behind it
A large transformerless UPS presents a particular load to the supply feeding it. Where the site runs on a generator for extended periods, size the generator against the UPS input characteristics rather than against the load alone, or the set will be adequate on paper and unhappy in practice.
Where it fits, and where it does not
Fits a data hall or campus load between 275 and 1200 kVA where the switchboard is being designed or rebuilt. Does not fit an installation under 275 kVA, where 93PM covers the range at lower cost and smaller footprint.
