Socomec ATyS M: 40 to 160 A DIN-rail transfer switch
ATyS M is Socomec’s modular transfer switch for the 40 to 160 A range, built to mount on DIN rail inside a standard distribution board rather than in a dedicated panel. It covers single and three-phase small-power applications, which is where most branch sites, shops and small server rooms sit. Variants are designated 3s, 6e and 6m.

Which one should you choose?
DIN rail is the whole point
At this current range a dedicated ATS panel is disproportionate to the installation. Mounting on DIN rail inside the existing board means no extra enclosure, no extra floor space and a much shorter installation. For a small site that is often the difference between the transfer switch being installed and being postponed.
3s, 6e or 6m
The variant designations correspond to different control and operation levels within the same current range. Which one you need follows from whether the switch has to operate purely automatically, whether it needs remote control, and what it must report back. Decide that from the operating model of the site rather than from the price list.
40 to 160 A is small-power, not small-importance
A branch office, a retail back room or a floor distribution point often carries the network equipment that everything else depends on. The load is small; the consequence of losing it is not. Sizing here is the same discipline as at 1600 A, just with cheaper components.
Single or three phase
Both are covered in this range, and the choice follows the incoming supply rather than the load. If the site has three-phase supply and single-phase loads, the transfer arrangement still has to handle three phases correctly, including the neutral.
